This Agreement includes General Terms and, where applicable, Service-Specific Terms. In case of conflict, Service-Specific Terms will prevail.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you do not agree to the General Terms, do not use the Services.

If you do not agree to any Service-Specific Terms, do not use the corresponding service. Acceptance may occur by selecting a checkbox, clicking an acceptance button, or by actual use of the Services.

The terms "you" and "your" refer to any individual or legal entity using the Online Platform. The terms "Elixir," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Elixir Business Solutions Private Limited and, where applicable, its affiliates and licensors.

Elixir Books is a cloud-based accounting platform intended to simplify bookkeeping and financial workflows for businesses. Features may include invoicing, expense tracking, financial reporting, compliance support, and collaboration capabilities.

You may access Services via supported browsers and applications and are responsible for internet access and required equipment.

You may view and use Online Platform content only for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless expressly authorized in writing.

Unauthorized use of the Online Platform or content may violate these Terms and applicable law.

If you do not agree to these Terms, discontinue use of the platform.

To access Services, you must provide true, current, and complete registration information and keep it updated.

If Elixir reasonably believes information is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, Elixir may suspend or terminate access.

You are expressly prohibited from activities including:

• Reverse engineering, copying, or creating derivative works
• Commercial exploitation without authorization
• Introducing malicious code or interfering with security
• Framing/mirroring outside permitted environments
• Competitive benchmarking/intelligence gathering
• Removing proprietary notices
• Defamation, harassment, or IP infringement
• Data interception/expropriation and spoofing/spamming

Content may originate from Elixir or third parties. Elixir does not warrant that content is always accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

Beta Services are provided for testing and evaluation and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at Elixir's discretion.

Free services may have feature restrictions and may end at Elixir's discretion. Data entered during free use may be lost unless exported or moved to a paid plan.

Certain features require account registration. You must provide and maintain accurate registration information.

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials (username and password), notifying us of unauthorized access, and logging out at the end of each session.

For organization accounts, administrators are responsible for account configuration, user management, and compliance within the organization.

If administrator control is lost, contact adminrecovery@elixirbooks.com with organization details, affected administrator accounts, proof of authorization, and verification contact information.

Elixir may restore control to an authorized individual based on satisfactory proof and will not be liable for good-faith actions in this process.

Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled or downgraded before renewal. Renewal charges may be applied using the last-used payment method unless updated.

Price changes apply prospectively from the next billing cycle. Services are not charged unless a paid plan is selected.

Applicable taxes (including GST, where applicable) are charged in addition to subscription fees.

Use of personal information is governed by Elixir's Privacy Policy. Users must maintain credential confidentiality and report unauthorized access to privacy@elixirbooks.com.

Service announcements and administrative messages are part of the Service. Newsletter opt-out may be available, but operational notices cannot be disabled.

Complaints received about your use of the Services may be forwarded to your registered email. You must respond within 10 days, with a copy to Elixir.

Grievance matters under applicable IT rules may be raised through official grievance channels.

Unpaid accounts inactive for 90 continuous days may be terminated with prior notice, and associated data may be deleted.

All trademarks, platform design, and intellectual property belong to Elixir or its licensors. Limited incidental non-commercial use applies only as expressly permitted.

External social media channels are governed by their own platform terms and privacy policies.

Submitted materials may be used by Elixir as permitted by law and subject to privacy commitments. You represent that you have rights to submit such materials.

Services may integrate with third-party applications. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Elixir may modify or disable integrations at its discretion and is not responsible for third-party availability, content, or performance.

Hosting region may depend on account mapping and may be changed by Elixir for operational reasons. You must not mask IP location during sign-up.

You retain ownership of data you create/store. You grant Elixir limited rights to process and store data solely to provide Services.

You are solely responsible for content published through the Services, including compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.

Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify Elixir against claims arising from your use of the platform or breach of these Terms.

Elixir's aggregate liability is limited to INR 50,000 or fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months for the relevant service, whichever is higher.

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts at Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes.

Elixir may suspend or terminate access for suspected illegal activity, prolonged inactivity, technical issues, or breach of terms, subject to applicable notice and process requirements.

Elixir Books provides a 7-day free trial for product evaluation before purchase. As a general rule, paid subscriptions are non-refundable after the trial period.

Refund exceptions: duplicate charges due to technical issues may be refunded (typically within 5 working days after verification).

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the complete agreement regarding Online Platform use. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

Claims must generally be filed within one year from when the cause of action arises, where permitted by law.
